1. Order Processing and Logistics

All orders are processed and prepared for secure shipment within 3–7 business days following payment verification (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your large kit is packaged and handed to the freight carrier, you will receive a confirmation email with all order details and tracking information.


2. Shipping Methods & Costs

We specialize in secure, reliable, oversized freight shipping for large wood structures across the nation.

  • Cost Commitment: We proudly offer FREE Curbside Delivery on all our barn kits, reinforcing the value of your purchase.

  • Service Area: We currently provide shipping for all products within the Continental United States only.

  • Shipping Carriers: Deliveries are handled by trusted national freight carriers experienced in transporting large, heavy, palletized materials.


3. Delivery Times and Scheduling

Delivery of large barn kits requires coordinating specialized lift-gate services.

  • Estimated Delivery: Once the carrier dispatches your order, estimated delivery is typically within 5–12 business days. This timeframe depends on your specific location and the carrier’s routing schedule.

  • Delivery Scheduling: The freight carrier will contact you directly 24-48 hours in advance to schedule a specific delivery appointment. You must be present at the delivery address during this scheduled window to receive and inspect the kit.


4. Mandatory Inspection and Receipt

This is the most critical step in the delivery process for high-value freight.

  • Mandatory Inspection: YOU MUST THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE EXTERIOR PACKAGING AND ALL PALLETIZED MATERIALS FOR ANY VISIBLE DAMAGE BEFORE SIGNING THE CARRIER'S RECEIPT (Bill of Lading).

  • Damage Protocol: If you notice any damage (punctures, crushing, water damage, or missing bundles), you must:

    1. Note the damage directly on the Bill of Lading (B.O.L.) before signing. Be specific (e.g., "Pallet wrap torn, dent on Siding bundle #3").

    2. Take clear, detailed photographs of the damage to the packaging and any visible materials.

    3. Notify Barn Vault immediately so we can initiate a claim and replacement.

  • Consequence: Damages not clearly noted on the B.O.L. at the time of delivery will be considered damage that occurred after delivery, and this will limit your ability to file a claim or receive replacement parts.


5. Delivery Issues and Accuracy

  • Contact Information: Please ensure your delivery address and contact phone number are accurate and current at checkout, as these are used by the freight company. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect information or missed delivery appointments.

  • Tracking: Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please allow up to 48 hours for the freight tracking information to become active.
